The Durham Community Action Share and Learn Community Buildings Network is a network of community organisations that run local Community Centres and Village Halls. Regular meetings take place and focus on various topics including governance, funding and compliance.

At this meeting, we will be discussing the practicalities of capital projects for community buildings, in particular around energy efficiency and decarbonisation.

d3associates will be joining us to talk about a ‘whole building’ approach to decarbonisation and will give examples of projects they have completed for community buildings. Woodland Village Hall will also be talking about their recent project to install solar panels. 

There will also be the opportunity for you to share your experience of capital projects as a trustee or member of staff of a community building.

The session will include an opportunity to network in smaller breakout rooms during the meeting. 

It will take place online and joining instructions will be provided prior to the meeting.

Attendance is free, although booking in advance is required to secure places which are limited.
