The aim of this workshop is to understand:< /p>\n \n

the benefits of DBS and you ( employer or voluntary organisation) working togeth er
the different levels of DBS check and when an employee is eligible for a check
what 'regulated activity' is
< span style="font-size:16px\;">what the DB S Update Service is\, and its benefits
the safe recruitment practices that can be in place\, with DBS checks forming a part of these

This w orkshop is suitable for anyone who has responsibil ity for engaging with DBS processes and legislatio n within their organisation including those who de cide on levels of checks to be applied for\, carry out recruitment or manage staff in regulated acti vity or have responsibility for safeguarding or tr ustees.

The workshop wil l be delivered by Rebecca Robinson from the Disclo sure and Barring Service.

This event will take place online\, and joining instructions will be sent prior to the se ssion.
