The theme of this forum is Research and Insight: Find Common Ground across public and voluntary sectors on research, insight and the evidence base we use to inform policy and service design.

This forum has been convened to explore if the evidence base we are building in County Durham is informed by all those working to support the wider determinants of health of our communities and ask how we might better work together to build inclusive insight to inform decision-making.

Colleagues in both voluntary and public sectors are engaged in work alongside academics to understand their communities through a range of research projects, data collection exercises and many engagement activities in order to make evidence-based decisions.

This event will provide the opportunity for discussion between a range of providers from all sectors and put a spotlight on this important topic.
