Community Growing and Food Network Meeting – Home Group Community Garden Projects

Registration is closed for this event

The Community Growing and Food Network is a network for community organisations in County Durham that are involved in or are interested in, community food and growing projects to come together to share experiences, connect with each other and discuss topics of interest.

Our next meeting will be in person on Thursday 26th September at Dean Bank and Ferryhill Literary Institute, St Cuthberts Terrace, Ferryhill, Durham DL17 8PP from 1.00 – 3.30pm.

We will be joined by Home Group to hear about their community-growing projects across County Durham; what they do and how it benefits the people they work with.

We will visit one of their community gardens nearby and pick some seasonal produce to bring back and cook with.

As always there will be plenty of opportunities to network, make connections and share experiences.

The premises are fully accessible, with car parking and overflow parking available nearby, as well as accessible toilets.

Please note: as part of the session there will be a short walk to a nearby allotment and practical cooking activity.

Once your booking is confirmed further information will be sent before the event. If you have any further questions or queries before booking please do not hesitate to get in touch by emailing lyndsey.hocking@durhamcommunityaction.org.uk

Places are limited and will be allocated on a first-come first served basis.
