Community Research Training Session 5: Dissemination and Impact

Registration is closed for this event

The Rural Durham Community Research Network (RDCRN) is a new network for interested organisations and individuals in Weardale, Teesdale and Derwent Valley. A community research network is a way of supporting local people to have an active role in research. RDCRN aims to build connections and capacity for community research.

Interested VCSE organisations and community groups are invited to join a series of weekly community research training sessions happening throughout May and June 2025.

The free community research training sessions will be delivered by Stephen Crossley, an experienced researcher from Durham University, and the sessions are an opportunity to develop new skills, knowledge and/or to move forward a community research idea you might have.

Each training session will cover different learning topics and you can choose to attend all or some of them depending on your interest and capacity.

Session 5 will cover dissemination and impact. This will take place on Thursday 12th June from 11.00am – 2.30pm at Stanhope Community Centre and a light lunch will be provided.

For any enquiries please email jemma.austin@durhamcommunityaction.org.uk

If you have any concerns about the ability to attend the training, please get in touch as we’re able to consider alternative arrangements where needed. We’re able to cover the cost of travel to and from the training venue.
