We’re inviting trustees and staff of community centres and village halls to join our next online network meeting focusing on increasing unrestricted income and understanding the dos and don’ts of trading. 

What to expect:

• Wheatley Hill Community Association will share practical insights on how they have successfully grown their unrestricted income.
• Durham Community Action will explain the key rules around charities and trading and highlight useful Charity Commission guidance.

You’ll also have the chance to share your own experiences and tips in smaller breakout rooms:

• What’s worked well for your organisation?
• What lessons have you learned?
• Have you struggled to find the right advice?

Attendance is free, although booking in advance is required to secure places. 

The Durham Community Action Share and Learn Network connects community organisations that manage local buildings and services. Our regular meetings cover a wide range of topics from governance to funding and compliance.
