Workshop 1: Starting Strong – Planning, Recruitment and Induction

This online session is aimed at those responsible for managing volunteers.

By the end of this workshop, participants will be able to:

  • Understand the key stages of effective volunteer planning and how to align volunteer roles with organisational needs.

  • Apply good practice in volunteer recruitment, and understand key legal considerations when involving volunteers.

  • Develop an effective volunteer induction process that sets expectations and supports a positive start.

This event will take place online and joining instructions will be sent prior to the session.

Attendance is free although booking in advance is required to secure places.
