Join Weardale Renewable Energy CIC (WRE), Durham Community Action and the Rural Design Centre at a series of informal events. You’ll find out how community-owned solar projects like Heights Quarry solar farm in Eastgate actually work and all the environmental and financial benefits they can generate for local people. 

What to Expect

• A short presentation, informal discussion and opportunity to get involved
• Option of free energy efficiency measures e.g. LED Lightbulbs for your home
• Tea, coffee and a friendly chat

This event takes place on Thursday 2nd July 10.00am – 12.00noon at Stanhope Community Centre, 9-11 Front Street, Stanhope, DL13 2ND
