Volunteers and the Law - Online Session

As we learn to live with COVID-19, to assist voluntary and community organisations we have developed a series of short online workshops on Strategic Planning, Consultation and Engagement, FInancial Management and Volunteering. All sessions are currently fully funded.

This session is part of our Volunteering workshop series and is aimed at staff and volunteers who are responsible for volunteer management.

It will cover how the law applies to recruiting, supporting and managing volunteers, understanding the Disclosure and Barrings process and when it is required, using the correct language when recruiting volunteers, and identifying the difference between good practice and the law when working with volunteers.

This event will take place online and joining instructions will be sent prior to the session.

Attendance is free although booking in advance is required to secure places.
