The Durham Community Action Share and Learn Network is a network of community organisations who run local buildings and local services. Regular meetings take place and focus on various topics including governance, funding and compliance.

This Share and Learn event will focus on Energy Efficiency as part of  Community Energy Fortnight

It is an opportunity for community organisations in County Durham to hear from speakers including:

• Michael Vasey, Lead Energy Auditor at the Business Energy Efficiency Project (BEEP) talking about the services and support they can offer to help organisations be more energy efficient.
• Peter Sykes from Framwellgate Moor Youth and Community Centre talking about the energy improvements thet have made to the building and the difference it has made.
• Philip Wanless from Wark Sports and Recreational Charity in Northumberland talking about their experience of retro fitting a ground source heat pump.

There will also be information available about potential funding sources for energy efficiency measures. 

The meeting will take place online and there will be an opportunity for networking. Joining instructions will be provided prior to the meeting.

Attendance is free, although booking in advance is required to secure places which are limited.
